Ending months of widespread story, Apple finally has launched the much expected touch screen tablet PC, or 'iPad' at an event in San Francisco, USA, for gadget freaks who want to view movies, TV shows, hear music, and play games at a single place.. The ipad is an innovative product released by Apple a leader and pioneer in computer and mobile technologies. The ipad has shrunk the size of personal computing and has made it easy to be carried anywhere with much ease. Apple ipad is a tablet PC because of wide range of facilities it offers as that of a desktop or Laptop. Speculation about the capabilities of the iPad and other things, have made this device to be one of the most glorified and eagerly expected gadget of 2010.The iPad is Apple’s first tablet PC designed to fill the gap between mobile phones and laptops while being more functional and feature filled than the notebooks.




This gadget may slay down laptops and desktops in the future years. These i pads are available with hard disk capacities of 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB flash drive and is powered by 1GHz Apple A4 processor. It has a 9.7 inch multi touch display with IPS technology and has a high pixel resolution of 1024 by 768. It consists of two sensors accelerometer sensor and ambient light sensor including for the inbuilt touch keypad in the screen.

Bottom edge of the screen consists of different applications like Safari, iPod and mail. Also introduced during the launch of the iPad is a new suite of work application that deals with keynote, numbers and Pages and is designed to be used on the iPad. The iPad also has a 10-hour battery backup and also features the same 30-pin connector that is found on the iPhone and iPods. I pad is totally an intelligent device that is of great use for everyone ranging from college students to scientist and research scholars.
